This Jingdezhen artwork gaiwan is handpainted with Chinese phoenix and auspicious clouds by a Jingdezhen experienced ceramic painter, Cao Yi.

The phoenix is ​​the king of birds, so it represents auspiciousness, good wishes, harmony, immortality and rebirth. The phoenix pattern is flying with wings spread out, which is particularly beautiful and energetic. Therefore, the ancient Chinese often said, "When the phoenix flies and sings, the world will be peaceful."
