Chinese Loose Tea Leaf Keemun Black Tea Qimen Black Tea High Mountain Red Tea
Keemun black tea, also known as Keemun Kungfu black tea, is recognized as one of the "three most fragrant black teas in the world" along with India's Darjeeling black tea and Sri Lanka's Uva tea. It is also the only black tea variety among China's top ten famous teas.
Keemun black tea is made with fine craftsmanship. One bud and two leaves/one bud and three leaves are picked as raw materials. After withering, rolling, and fermentation, the buds and leaves change from green to copper-red, and the fragrance is exuded. Then the traditional charcoal is baked at low temperature until dry so that the aroma of the tea leaves slowly emanates.
The Qimen production area has excellent natural conditions, with many mountain forests, a warm and humid climate, deep soil, abundant rainfall, and many clouds and fogs, which are very suitable for the growth of tea trees. In addition, the main variety of local tea trees, the oak leaf variety, is rich in internal substances, which is very suitable for the production of Kungfu black tea.
