Twisted porcelain is also known as "twisted mud", "stirred porcelain" and "transparent porcelain". The so-called twisted tire is made by kneading two or more different colors of porcelain clay together, then twisting and drawing the blank into shape, pouring a layer of transparent glaze and firing. Due to the different kneading methods of the mud, the texture changes are endless. It can produce wood grains, bird feather patterns, cloud patterns, and running water patterns. Some are like the entangled roots of old trees, and some are like mountains with undulating peaks. The ideas are ingenious and ever-changing.

This beautiful Gaiwan is handmade by experienced craftsmen in China. The porcelain clay used in this tureen has been fired at high temperatures to form a special texture, which is very beautiful.
