Osmanthus Jiuqu Hongmei black tea is a seasonal tea. It combines osmanthus and Jiuqu hongmei black tea, combining the warmth of Jiuqu hongmei black tea with the sweetness of osmanthus. The finished tea is fragrant and long-lasting, with a sweet aftertaste.
- Osmanthus refers to a Chinese flower that blooms in autumn. It can be used for viewing, eating, and making tea;
- Jiuqu Hongmei is the only black tea produced in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, and is also a representative of the famous black tea in the Jiangnan tea-producing area of China. Jiuqu Hongmei is also called “Nine Bend Red Plum Black Tea“”
Tea craft: This osmanthus red plum black tea is made by Mr. Lou Hongsheng, the representative inheritor of the "Nine-bend red plum tea making technique", using traditional ancient flower scenting techniques. The flower scenting process is based on the characteristics of flowers exuding fragrance and dry tea leaves absorbing fragrance. A layer of dry osmanthus flowers and a layer of dry tea leaves are mixed evenly, and then dried with quicklime. The tea and flowers are fully blended, and the flower fragrance and tea flavor are perfectly integrated, with better fragrance and longer aftertaste.
