This classic Chaozhou tin tea tray is made by a very famous tin craftsman-Yan Jili(颜吉利), every his artwork is forged his name on the backside. if you are searching for a tea tray for your Gongfu tea set, this will be an excellent choice. Simple design but very elegant looking. The edge of the tray is fored of copper.

I've bought a number of trays from this seller and they have always exceeded my expectations. This one is no different. Some highlights: - simple, elegant design, without too many decorations - brass accents add a touch of class - the tray is low and wide as opposed to high and narrow (like most tin trays) - the tin is relatively thin, so care must be taken when handling the tray. The surface and shape can easily be bent - in my photo, I lightly sanded the top surface to speed up the patina process. I've also added some dimples to the surface, as the tin is easily moldable. Overall I'm very satisfied. The tray is fragile but still heavy, as are most tin items. I think over time, it will develop a very nice patina.
Generally, the item is a good quality, however handmade items are always imperfect.However I love the design of the piece.
