The formation of tin spots in Yuan blue and white porcelain is that the iron content in the local area of ​​the blue pigment is particularly high, reaching a saturated state in the high-temperature glaze solution. After the kiln heating is completed, the kiln temperature gradually decreases, and the supersaturated part of the iron element begins to precipitate. If the iron content of the blue pigment is higher and the cooling speed is properly controlled, tin spots are more likely to appear on the object.
