2023 Silver Needle Yunnan Bai Hao Yin Zhen Organic White Tea
2023 Silver Needle Yunnan Bai Hao Yin Zhen Organic White Tea
The White Needle sourced by our Teahouse goes through a delicate picking process. The selection of leaves is rigorous. It includes exclusively the shoots with a single bud. The finished tea leaves are firm and straight, hairy and pale white. The brew is clear with a mild tint of yellow. It comes with a refreshing fragrance of honey.
Yunnan Moonlight White gets its name from its curved, moon-like buds, sourced from the Yunnan Province in China. This tea has been picked from old tea trees in Jinggu Yunnan which is around 100 years old. It has a smooth, creamy texture and a clean, refreshing flavor.
Our Yunnan Moonlight White is suitable for aging and the flavor will shift over the coming months and years and become darker and closer in taste to a sweet black tea.
