This bamboo woven teapot Gaiwan is actually an intangible cultural heritage from Sichuan province of China, which is a folk art from Chengdu, it dated from mid-Qing Dynasty, in 2008 it was selected to National intangible heritage list. Every piece is made by Sichuan local bamboo craftsman.

The wonderful part is the flying Swallow pattern on the bamboo weaving, it's a very particular woven craft from Sichuan folk art.
