What is Honey Orchid Dancong?
- Honey Orchid Scent is one of the 10 signature fragrances of Phoenix Dancong teas. Dancong means “single bush”, i.e., teas consisting of leaves from a single cultivar or plant. In essence, this means that more or less each fragrance comes from its cultivar.
- It's a dramatically aromatic type of oolong from Phoenix Mountain (鳳凰山) in Chaozhou, Canton province. These oolongs are often described as "drinkable perfume".
- The tea grows in a biodiverse environment with mineral-rich soils, which translates to extra layers and complexity in the flavor of the tea.
- Our Honey Orchid Scent is grown on Wudong Mountain, one of the highest in the Phoenix Mountain range that is almost perpetually enshrouded in mist. Wudong is home to the purest tea groves and cleanest processing of the entire region.

recommended tea-to-water ratio: 1:15-1:20(if you are a Chinese tea beginner, you can try with 1:25) The amount of tea leaves is generally 7-10 g (2/3 of the tureen capacity), whichever is more personal taste.
Danocong tea demands a high temperature to stimulate the fragrances in tea leaves, first of all, you need to preheat well your teawares and then rinse your tea. Now you can start to brew the Dancong tea.
First infusion steeping time: 5-10s, second infusion steeping time: 5-10s, third infusion steeping time: 5-10s, fourth infusion steeping time: 10s, fifth infusion steeping time: 15s, after fifth infusions, you can appropriately increase steeping time.
