Arrived on time as expected. I immediately cleaned the teapot with hot water 3 times, and then began brewing Phoenix Dancong Oolong tea. It brewed perfectly while releasing a strong aroma of the tea, and left a strong taste from the second steep. Thank you so much for the teapot. I look forward to buying more from your shop.
I’m a tea nerd and mainly buy my tea from Lupicia, but when I saw the Instagram live on this tea, my interest was piqued and I bought the 2013 Dark Tea Hei Cha Anhua Fu Brick Fu Cha which is tea that is compressed to a brick then left to age for a very long time. I was a little apprehensive trying tea this old but knowing the incredible tea history of China, I bought it. I am so glad I did. It is nothing like the black tea we have here that is largely the same flavour. This was earthy and rich and reminded me of the smell of rain and grass. They also included a sample of one with ginseng added and it too was like nothing I had tried before. There’s a whole world of tea out there that in Australia we have no idea about, and I feel very lucky I found this! Give it a try, you wont be disappointed (and no I am not affiliated in any way!)
Its a lovely tea, you need the throw away the first flush of water, which will look blue and then enjoy it!

This green tea is some of the best I've ever had.
Love it! Make sure you read the steeping recommendation on the site! Personally I would lower the temperature to 205F and 8sec steeping. But regardless it’s delicious.
