this Shino warecrude pottery has a different gloss and style thanks to the process of Shinoyaki, which is an ancient Japanese ceramic glaze technique.

Shino ware (志野焼, Shino-yaki) is Japanese pottery, usually stoneware, originally from Mino Province, in present-day Gifu Prefecture, Japan. It emerged in the 16th century, but the use of shino glaze is now widespread, both in Japan and abroad. 

This beautiful teapot is made of Chinese Jingdezhen ceramic mud and first of all, the ceramicist puts Shino glaze on it and then a special Soda glaze. The cup is processed under an electric cave and wood fired cave, that's why you can see the varied Shino ware and wood-fired beauty on one teapot. The teapot is also decorated with pure gold foil.
