The pattern of this exquisite teapot is inspired by the traditional Chinese pattern - Taotie pattern.
The Taotie pattern, also known as the animal face pattern, was first popular in China from the Shang Dynasty to the early Western Zhou Dynasty, and was often used as the main decoration on bronze artifacts. Some of the Taotie patterns include animal faces, torsos, feet, fish, birds, etc. The most striking feature of the Taotie pattern is symmetry. Most of the animal faces depicted are angry and majestic. The animal faces in different periods have different shapes and different levels of abstraction.

Gilding silver technology is to grind sterling silver into a fine powder, treat it at a high temperature, and then brush the silver on the surface of the utensils at least 3 times. Generally, the silver gilding process is used more in the porcelain.
