This Jingdezhen artwork teapot is painted with a Chinese purple grape pattern and by Jingdezhen's experienced ceramic painter, Cao Heping.
This exquisite teacup takes two times to get burned in the cave after painting litchi on it. There is also a hand-signed siganature of Master Caoheping on the bottom of the teacup.
Master Cao Heping, born in Jingdezhen in 1958, is an inheritor of Chinese ceramic art intangible heritage. He has been influenced by his family's ceramic culture since he was a child, and he is particularly fond of hand-made porcelain craftsmanship. From the traditional panning of clay, to hand-pulling the blank into shape, and then to sharpening the blank into the vessel, he is familiar with it, with ease and mastery.
His works have won honors such as "Gold Medal" and "First Prize" in domestic and foreign exhibition selections many times. Many works have been purchased by ceramic collectors, and the specially designed "good luck" and "good luck" rooster pictures are sought after by ceramic enthusiasts and have won awards in many competitions. He is called the "King of Generals" by collectors and colleagues.
