This Jingdezhen artwork teacup is handpainted with the Chinese gui fish pattern and by Jingdezhen experienced ceramic painter.

In traditional Chinese culture, the character “fish 鱼” has the same sound as the word"abundance", symbolizing wealth and prosperity every year, as well as bravery and perseverance.

"Blue and white porcelain" (Chinese: 青花; pinyin: qīng-huā; lit. 'Blue flowers/patterns') covers a wide range of white pottery and porcelain decorated under the glaze with a blue pigment, generally cobalt oxide.
