Famille rose porcelain is a kind of Jingdezhen artistic overglaze decoration, also known as soft-colored porcelain. Famille rose porcelain is another colored porcelain created during the Qing Dynasty, aside from enamel porcelain. Craftsmen first use ink lines to paint on the white porcelain body fired at high temperature, then superimpose a layer of "glass white" containing arsenic in the pattern, and then apply the color material on the glass white. Due to the emulsion effect of arsenic, the color produces a powdery effect, and then it is fired for the second time at a low temperature of 700℃-800℃ (1292 º℉-1472 ℉). The finished product has a crystal-clear surface, rich color layers, and soft colors. Famille rose porcelain has a special powdery texture and a strong sense of protrusion when touched.
