This Jingdezhen artwork teacup is hand-painted with the Chinese lion pattern and by Jingdezhen experienced ceramic painter.

The pattern of this teacup comes from the traditional Chinese auspicious pattern -Varied  Treasure lion, which is usually composed of lion, Chinese currency pattern Tongqian,varied treasure patterns. The lion is the king of beasts and has great deterrence. It is a symbol of exorcism.

"Blue and white porcelain" (Chinese: 青花; pinyin: qīng-huā; lit. 'Blue flowers/patterns') covers a wide range of white pottery and porcelain decorated under the glaze with a blue pigment, generally cobalt oxide.
