Dingyao Ding Porcelian:
Dingyao is one of the Five Great Kilns of the Song Dynasty (960–1279), renowned for producing exquisite white porcelain. The kiln sites are located in Quyang County, Hebei Province (an area that fell under the jurisdiction of Dingzhou during the Song Dynasty). Characterized by fine-grained bodies and warm, lustrous glazes, the ware is celebrated for its distinctive "mang kou" (un-glazed rims) and superb decorative techniques—specifically incising, sgraffito, and molding. In addition to standard white porcelain, the kilns produced rare varieties such as "Black Ding," "Purple Ding," and "Green Ding."

The core characteristics and historical significance of Ding ware are as follows: White as Congealed Fat—Ding ware is famed for its superior whiteness, typically displaying an ivory or milky-white hue with a lustrous, jade-like texture.
Peak decorative techniques: Decoration primarily features carved, incised, and stamped designs.
